The Cuckoos halted the recent run of Raunds wins and manager Gary Clipston was disappointed not to have taken all 3 points having watched his side dominate the vast majority of the game but admitted that in the last 10 minutes, the visitors could have pinched a late winner.

Home 'keeper John Feetham pulled-off a fantastic aerial finger-tip save in the first quarter but was little troubled for the remainder of the game. At the opposite end, a couple of good chances fell to Mark Paul and Andy Thomas just couldn't get on the end of a powerful low cross that only needed a touch to seal the game.

The two sides meet again next Saturday in the reverse league fixture at Kiln Park.
